Welcome to the North Yorkshire Bowls League web site. Our League was formed in 1936 and is affiliated to Bowls England. If you are interested in playing flat green lawn bowls there will be a club near you. It’s a great game that can be played by both sexes and all groups, to whatever standard you want to aspire to, be it just socially or competitively. Any Clubs wishing to promote their open competitions/events/other news can do so on this web site.

At the 2021 AGM held on Thu 9 December Les Oakley was elected President for the coming season.
It was decided after a vote that the league format will be 12 players, playing as 4 triples.
This will be reviewed at the next AGM.
